Klicky probe mount issue

Recommended Posts

Hi. I have a issue with klicky pcb ab mount model. Model looks fine when imported in to slicer but when sliced model has open external wall around heat insert holes.
When printed this kind of mount fails in use, screws get loosen and then getting that Klipper annoying error klicky not attached.
Error disappear when screws are tightened but this only helps as long as insert is holding in the plastic part.
Reprinting the part and assembling works for some time no problem.
The klicky that i have installed with this build is this one
https://www.3dlabtech.ca/product/pcb-klicky-probe-kit/  and stl files https://github.com/tanaes/whopping_Voron_mods/tree/main/pcb_klicky
I try to fix it in thinkercad with no luck, only if i change XY compensation for that model to +0.20 i can get external wall to close but switch will not fit as to be expected.
I tested on multiple slicers and printed on voron and ender 3 pro with same issues.  Is there a proper fixed model for this?

I downloaded fusion 360 and create account but never got a confirmation email from themSo cant use the softwareTried many times to resend the email,email is correct trash ban is checked but no confirmation email and because of this i cant login in to my account to contact them and ask what is the issue.

I took a look at the .stl file and the M2 heat-set insert holes are only 0.25mm from the walls. If you use Arachne as the Perimeter Generator then you should be able to get decent results (unless you want to switch to a smaller nozzle).

This is from Prusa Slicer using a standard 0.4mm nozzle with Arachne turned on:

Some layers will have small issues, like you can see on the bottom left hole, but overall you should be able to get a viable print.
