From the ArmoredTurtle Discord. It looks like it was designed as a joke, but it ended up working decently.

This for me is both good and bad. I have been designing a MMU that is based off the Pico MMU, but uses 2 stepper, just like this. So, I may end up abandoning my efforts and just use this. Good news is that the firmware support should be easier for me know.

I think the joke was "I designed this in one evening" part.

The only issue with this as far as I am concerned is that you would need some filament rewinder mechanism, which in theory increases the footprint.

That's why I like the Box Turtle - the spool rewinder is built into the design.

Some options that are suggested are:

• Filamentalist which now has its own drybox/enclosure
• Auto Rewinder or
• Reprack Respooler
