The hot potatoes this year were - large format printers and metal printing. Metal printing is advancing so fast now and the detail that they can produce are amazing.

I had a good couple of hours chatting to the folks on the BTT stand (mainly Luke Harrison their Technical Director. He's really pushing the company to produce more stable products.

I came away with a free T shirt and a new Manta M8P V2 Board which they sold to me at an extremely good price (black Friday show price).

A very enjoyable day. I walked over 26,600 steps (about 18km) and only visited one hall. I am absolutely banjaxed this morning. I started early (05:30) and got home at 20:15, I keep forgetting that I'm 63.

Just an example of how good metal printing is now. This is a print in-place whistle / bottle opener.

I buddy of mine in the automotive industry had this custom bracket 3D metal printed for my VW Corrado G60 restoration. I was pretty impressed with the quality of the part.

You can see the leftover aluminum from the printer that I need to file down.
