Need to have a look see if there is a 5v jumper or something like that for the sb2209 rp2040

Wouldn't be a jumper as your e-motor is connected to 24V. The only other thing is to make sure your PT1000 settings on the board are correct. They should be if the hotend is heating up.

Had my first blockage all rdy while trying to do the extruder calabration

What happened? What nozzle temp? Did you forget the bowden tube between the extruder and hotend? Are the gripper wheels slipping?

Lots of unknowns.

At this point we're all in suspense. 😁

Pla is the fillament atm nozzle temp was 200 rollers started slipping not sure if was cause of the blockage or a result is un blocked now the tube was fitted on hot end and is the one with the thicker walls as stated on voron setup rest is the thinner walled one I am using the galileo2 btw

But is unblocked now extruder is calibrated extrude 100mm get 100.20mm I think that is close enough

Definitely.

It's really easy to push a good amount of plastic with the on screen controls. 200c is on the low side IMO, 210c would be better. Also, the recommended feed rate is 2mm/s for 100mm (50x2) and you are definitely good with 200.20mm.

Might have to look at a new pc now as trying to get my head around Linux is driving me nuts

I have one of these Mini PCs. It came with Win 11 Pro installed. Ryzen 7 with 16GB RAM and 1TB NVME SSD for under $350. Totally plug & play and more than enough power to do anything you need.

Was going to try and install orica but I cannot find out how to install it on Linux mint for what ever reasion I can download it but don't know how to do any thing with it

Here is a document on how to run an AppImage

From what I have read on reddit, Orca does not love mint, but try this. (Follow this thread)

Change your graphic drivers to open source drivers.

In a terminal window, navigate to the directory you have put the appimage. Then enter this: ./OrcaSlicer_Linux_V2.1.1.AppImage

(Change V2.1.1.AppImage with the version you have.)

That should cause the program to start.

You don't install the AppImage. You need to make it executable.

Go to where you downloaded it.

Right click and select properties:

1. Click on the "Permissions tab then

2. Click the checkbox that says "Allow executing file as a program"

Click Close

Right click on the file again and say open

Now has dawned on me this morning re z stop how do I properly configure this as it dose not have a location being tap

You need to do a  PROBE_ACCURACY check and then run the PROBE_CALIBRATE command to set your Z-Offset . See here for more info on probe accuracy and here for calibrating the probe.

Quote

  1. Update your probe's offsets:

    • Remember, with Tap, your nozzle IS the probe, so your [probe] x_offset and [probe] y_offset values should be 0 now. You'll need to manually calibrate the probe's Z offset by using PROBE_CALIBRATE.

Looks like the config u helped me with is all there I have done the 100 probe cycles like the thing asked and the prob accuracy and that is all good

When I do the probe cal it comes up with the up and down screen but the info dose not say what to do with it I assume u lower it till the sheet of paper just has small amount of tension not hard town like on of the other printers say think was the switchwire and then tick is that right was there any other steps how do u save it ?

Correct, lower it until you're happy, click accept and then save config will appear at the top ( or you can enter save_config at the command box).
