Voron Build Tools Mega-List - 2024 Edition

A very handy tool indeed, very useful for those more delicate jobs such as reaming or drilling out the smaller size holes. I usually clean out my 3mm inserts with a tap after pressing them in with the soldering iron. You can also find them on places like Ali Express, Temu etc.

Yet another useful tool.

Also available from Ali Express, Temu.

Yup, and if you go back one page, you'll find that I already posted this tool last October. 😄

I will say this about those tools though... I have two of them, one has about 2-3 degrees more taper than the other one. So, if you are in the market... The tool with a bit less taper works better i.e. removes more material per twist.

This is the more taper one - Doesn't work that well for 3D printed holes.

Hi,

I am new to building Vorons, but have worked my way through a couple of Deltas.

I would add a few Allen keys of the screw driver type.

Perhaps a torque limiting screwdriver and the torque gauge that Prusa suggest s to print and attach to a regular L  Allen wrench.

I just posted a thread about a "square" that I plan to use for my 2.4 kit (just ordered an hour ago,)

Not just a tool, but potentially a frame stiffener if I leave them in.

Here is the little "square" that I made.

NOTES:

1) it ain't perfect, but I think it will be usefulcorner-brace-3.STL

2) I wanted to go as deep into the 2020 slot as practical - without my actual kit and no CAD drawings of the 2020's section I was only able to estimate the edge flange as 2 mm thick.

3) The only CAD drawings I have of Tee nuts for this are for 5mm slide in ones and they go 1.4 mm into the slot from the inside, so I made allowance for them to come in that full 1.4 mm.   For NOW I am printing those in ABS, the mid term plan is to use roll in nuts.

I retired my old multimeter, which I used at work for over 20 years. I thought I'd give this meter from Aliexpress a try, I have to say I'm impressed shipping was quick, at $32.00 CND it was worth the gamble. Multimeter

Nice features and the large digital display is great, eyes aren't what they used to be. 🙂
