Can we make this for the dragon burner/rapid burner?

I would really like to validate this flexure design before putting time into designing around a competing toolhead. Also, right now I am very busy trying to release the Mini Stealth v2.

This design is released under the GPL V3 license so the Dragon team is welcome to adapt it to their toolhead.

now that you have the Mini Stealth v2 out, any plans on re-visiting this design?

I did modify it a little to make sure it fits all of the different extruders for the v2 release. I still need to get mine installed on my Trident and get some real experience with it.

understood. i still really hope to see this for the other extruders!!

The v0.6 DAB fits all nine extruders supported by the Mini Stealth v2.

Orbiter 1.5      :-:  Orbiter 2.0       :-:  Galileo SA,
Micro Sherpa :-:  Mini Sherpa     :-:  ProtoXtruder,
LGX Lite         :-:  Vz Hextrudort  :-:  Hummingbird

All of these versions also have Crop-Top shrouds available in the repo. If there is another extruder that I should look at, please let me know

And here I thought I could take the easy route 😜

It looks like it should be doable. It will take a little fiddling around, and I don't know how soon I will finish it, but I will start working on a Stealthburner version of this.

The red areas should be the only critical features that I need to include and the X endstop mount will be easy enough.

This looks awesome! I am excited! I love the idea of compliant mechanisms within 3d printing. I am really wanting to set up my printer with a SB or archeon/XOL toolhead with the Beacon sensor as well.

The new files are available in the Downloads section! I had to modify the Z_stop_boss pieces a little so they are now compatible with either version of the DAB.

The printed parts only weigh about 20g and there is no change in Y travel compared to a stock Stealthburner install.

sorry im a little confused lol, what is the third file for? and I was gonna add one more question/request... how hard would it be to add a mount for a beacon probe to the stealthburner version? also, do you have any way for people to donate to you for your effort?

Sorry, the pink one on the right is the stock Stealthburner x-carriage. It is just there to show that the new DAB is a drop-in replacement for it.

I had no idea that TAB + Beacon was a thing, but it appears that it has been done before. I will see what I can come up with for the DAB.

I only have a PayPal.me link for now. If I ever get around to making videos I might get on Patreon or Subscribe Star.

Mechanically, it is quite easy to mount the Beacon probe to the DAB x-carriage. The metal exclusion zone (in pink) makes it a little more challenging though. There is a grub screw just below the micro-switch that sets the Z trigger location and the M2x10 mounting screws are in the interference area. I'll play with the design and see if I can work out a solution.

Great work!
Would it be possible to add a SB mount for switchwire?? I would like to try this

I will work on this. I don't know how well the Switchwire bed can handle the nozzle probing force but I have read comments of people saying that they have had success with the TAP/Switchwire combo.
